Dr. Emmanouil Kostakis studied in Greece at the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace. As a rural physician, he participated with full responsibilities in the clinical and scientific work of the Cardiology Department in Didymoteicho, as well as in the management of emergency cardiology cases in the Emergency Department and the Coronary Care Unit. He completed his specialization in Pulmonology–Tuberculosis in Chania and Thessaloniki, demonstrating particularly strong performance in bronchoscopy and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and has also been involved in research on pleural effusions, sleep studies, smoking cessation, and palliative medicine. He is a member of the Thessaloniki Medical Association and the Cyprus Medical Association.
